Description
Join our President, Heather Wallis, to explore the medieval and other treasures of Ely, including a guided tour of the Cathedral, the Stained Glass Museum, and free time to visit the city Museum or other sights.
(Please note access to the Stained Glass museum is only possible by a stone spiral staircase of 40 steps. There is a handrail throughout and a spot for a breather half way up. There are no toilets at this level of the Cathedral, though there are facilities within the Cathedral.)
Travel options: Travel is not included. Detail of trains will be provided for those wishing to travel together as a group, or you can make your own way to Ely and join the group there. The meeting point is at the Cathedral welcome desk, at 10.50AM for the 11am tour. The Stained Glass Museum Tour will follow at 12.15.
